Antec Twelve Hundred

Strengths: Tons of Fans (7 120mm, 1 huge top fan), Fan filters, Fans have fan controller built in accessible from outside case. Case painted ALL Black including inside. Cable management in back.

Weakness: VERY HEAVY! Requires extra long cables from power supplies if you want to do cable management. Expensive.

Case costs on average 170 which is still quite a bit. Under 150 would have been worth it more. I love the black paint inside the case too. Really easy to work with, plenty space. No sharp edges (unlike antec 900). Looks better than the antec 900 just alot heavier. E-sata on front is a nice feature if you use it otherwise just an extra wire in your case.

Best Case I Ever Owned! Antec has done it again!

Strengths: Great Looking, Ample Space, Air Flow, Cable Management, Dust Filters for Fans, Solidly Built, Many design improvements over Antec 900

Weakness: Plain Stick-on Rubber Feet, Price, Wish I could turn off LEDs on Fans, Heavy, PSU cables may be too short to reach

Absolutely Great Case! I've owned many top of the line gamer cases, and this would have to be my favorite. It is truly a well designed case and great looking to boot. It is all black inside and out. All fans have Blue LEDs. Personally I would have liked no LEDs, but if I have to have them blue is the best color. The fans have speed controls on the outside of the case which makes it easy to change...

Antec Twelve Hundred

Strengths: This tower has lots of space (compared to the five hundred) which makes installation of components really easy. All the grills are guarded by dust filters which is a welcome addition.

Weakness: The case is huge and therefore I would have really liked a carrying handle (like cooler master stackers).

Overall highly recommended if you can get a good price. The side fan in my opinion is not necessary unless you are worried about heating for any reason. The case has an eSATA port on the front which makes it kind of future proof. Also, I really liked the nice black shiny finish inside which made the overall appearance appealing.

Power Supply on bottom

Strengths: air flow, ample room for large vid cards, front eSATA, looks like a monster :D

Weakness: PSU on the bottom is the worst design idea, sounds as loud as an airplane, do not need 1200 fans, blue leds are too bright, etc.

If you want to install dual video cards (nvidia SLI or ati crossfire) and a good sound card, do NOT get this case! The power supply installed on the bottom of the case will significantly reduce airflow. The PSU fan and a the vid card fan (when facing down) fight each other, because they are so close. With most of the good vid cards taking up 2 pci slots worth of room, there is zero room left...

It has the room to play

Strengths: Ya it's big!! What I needed for a gamming box,my 680i and the two 9800 gt cards hit the back of my DVD's in my old Case.

Weakness: The side door not as good as the old Antec cases thay had a car door handle and key lock...

All Summer long my PC parts stayed cool,in the 32c to 38c,not bad went my room was hitting 98 to 110 in june and july.Big and Cool thats whats needed for a good gamming case...As for the Blue LED fan's move the case away from your monitor if its to bright, for me I don't see them, just at night were its a mood lamp....
