This is a great cpu cooler

Strengths: All copper construction, variable fan speed, blue led, looks awsome, low noise

Weakness: very very big, pins can be tricky i recoment going to the companys website to watch the instal video

This product was an awsome addition to my build. It keeps my intel q6600 at about 29-30c idle. about 2c above room temp. there was some trickiness installing this beast and i had some trouble with it touching the power supply at first but it fit in my ultra grid mid tower case. I am very happy with this product and would buy again.

The best heatsink ever

Strengths: Silent Cools great

Weakness: kind of tall

I use this on an opteron fx-62 and it keeps that cool at standard speeds, even with the fan running at the minimum possible speed. This cooler is fantastic! only caveat: Make sure you have enough vertical clearance, as this is fairly tall! I have mine in an Antec P180 case.

Cooler or butterfly?

Strengths: Powerful

Weakness: none

I upgraded my PC to windows vista and I needed to a cooler for my Intel Core2Duo. After read many reviews I decided to purchase this cooler instead the use the regular cooler come with the CPU. The instrucciones came in a small paper which could be diffcult to read because the graphics are not clear. I preferer to check the website and use the online info. The setup took just 5 minutes; however...

Excellent HTPC CPU Cooler

Strengths: Very Quiet Cools Extremely well Can be directed to the case fan to pull the hot air out of the case.

Weakness: Large May not like the cool blue LED

I am not a big fan of LED fans, but that been said, this is an excellent copper cooler, and working with my AMD 5000+ BE CPU, I can hit 3200MHz, and not even hit 60C core temps. This baby really cools, and is very quiet. It is inside my coolermaster HTPC case, which is very large for a HTPC, and it fits very well. The nice thing is the orientation, which allows the fan to be directed at the case...

Potential Good Heatsink/Fan

Strengths: Large cooking area, cooling would be great if you had a large amount of air flowing over it and it was in a relatively cool room. Good value.

Weakness: HUGE! This heatsink is massive, I didn't measure it to see whether it would fit in my case but luckily it did.

I was quite disappointed to see the performance of this heatsink. I had expected it to drop my CPU temps by more than 3 degrees C over the stock cooler but that may be because my room is not exactly a cool place. I can see it being very good if a large amount of air was flowing over it. The blue LEDs are a nice addition to my blue themed case.

Great CPU Cooler!!!

Strengths: Easy to install, Comparably silent, Fancy look, Very good cooling performance.

Weakness: The size is a little big as a CPU cooler.

I replaced my old OCZ Vendetta with it. My system: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, ASUS P5E3 LGA 775 DDR3 Intel X48 motherboard, Antec 900 case. The process of installation was soomth and it fits in the system well. It keeps the Quad Q6600 at 42C Idle and 47C Load when overlocked to 3.0 GHZ, which is about 7C lower than my old cooler. Its performance is fantastic. Overall it is the best CPU Cooler I...

Nice CPU Cooler

Strengths: Look nice, Easy to install, Let my E8400 runs cool in 4 G.

Weakness: Still a little bit loud when change the fan speed in high level

Very good CPU Cooler, look nice, huge, best choice for overclocking! Notice the edge of the cooler is so sharp that you need to pay more attention to avoid get hurt when install it.

Thermaltake V1 CPU Cooler

Strengths: All-copper construction, excellent build quality, 4 heat pipes for excellent heat dissipation, 110mm blue LED silent fan, easy installation on Intel CPUs without having to remove the motherboard

Weakness: Quite tall and heavy, RPM control requires opening the case to adjust

I replaced a Thermaltake MaxOrb cooler with the Thermaltake V1 and am very pleased with he results. The V1 is made from all copper and has 4 heat pipes and a 110mm blue LED fan for maximum heat dissipation. The V1 is quite tall and heavy but not nearly as wide the MaxOrb and does not interfere with the memory slots on my Gigabyte X-38 DQ6 motherboard as the MaxOrb did. I can now use 4 memory...

It outperformed my expectations

Strengths: Very very good at it's job - cooled my FX-60 from 55C with an AC Freezer 64 Pro to 45-46C, both using Artic Silver 5. Combined with the Antec 900 it's down to 40-41C full load at ambient of 70-72C.

Weakness: It is big, but should fit in most cases without issue. Fit in a Coolermaster Centurion 5 and an Antec 900 without problems.

If you are overclocking, you cannot beat this cooler. My FX-60 is at a modest 2.78ghz stable, but I could push it farther with the exceptional tempature drop I have gotten since I changed coolers and cases (cooler 2 days before the case).

Thermaltake V1 - Excellent!!

Strengths: EASY install, quiet operation, excellent performance, lots of "bling bling."

Weakness: Big. Probably not for small cases. Poor install instructions.

My system is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium mobo, AMD Athlon FX-57 CPU, in a Thermaltake Armor Case w/25cm side intake fan. I bought this cooler to replace my trusty AC 64 Pro. the first thing you notice is that this cooler looks AWESOME!! The second thing you notice is that it looks BIG!! My initial worry was whether it would fit - especially with the side case fan. Not to worry. Installation was a...
